I fell into acting through a crazy and improbable series of events. After graduating from a high school of 12 (hey, at least I was valedictorian) I decided that I wanted to major in drama. I had only been in 6 plays at the time - most of them at said school of 12 - but for some reason, I decided this major was a good choice. Somehow, this seemingly crazy decision turned out to be the right one. I  received my BA in Drama from the University of Dallas in 2009. While at UD, I performed in a number of classical plays including Richard III and Volpone. I also spent a semester in Italy, where I directed a production of Medea.

After college, through another improbable series of events, I attended graduate school at West Viriginia University. West Virginia was never on my radar, in terms of career and life goals, but this move was a huge artistic and personal milestone in my life. The small, personalized program allowed me to focus on particular areas of interest, including Meisner technique, Shakespearean texts, film, and solo performance. While in grad school, I enjoyed challenging roles like Elizabeth Proctor in The Crucible,  Claire Zachanassian in The Visit , and Rachel Corrie in the one-woman show My Name Is Rachel Corrie.  I also served as a graduate teaching assistant, developing my own Stanislavski-based curriculum for Beginning Acting.

After receivng my MFA in Acting in 2012, I returned to the great state of Texas. Because of my flexible schedule and willingness to travel, I have found work across the state, including films in Denison and Nemo, commericals in Fort Worth and Waco, and  plays in Dallas, Tyler, and Austin. The  improbable adventures keep coming, and I am excited to see where the crazy paths of life and art take me next!
